1. Combine the chipotle paste, olive oil and garlic in a small bowl.
2. Brush the steak with the mixture and let it set for 30 minutes at room temperature.
3. Lightly season the steak with salt.
4. Preheat outdoor gas or charcoal grill. Grill steak 5 to 7 minutes per side.
5. Remove from grill, loosely tent with foil and let rest for at least 10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Slice the steak very thin.
